In November 2011 I went to Zimbabwe to see Oxfam’s projects. Before I went on the trip I knew a lot about Oxfam’s work and could talk quite confidently about it. The trip transformed my understanding of Oxfam as a charity and I couldn’t be more passionate about the life changing work that the charity achieves every day, in over 90 countries around the world.
I saw many types of project on my trip from water and sanitation to livestock distribution, cash for work schemes and one of Oxfam’s largest projects to date: the Ruti Dam project.
You can find out more about Oxfam’s amazing work on the Oxfam GB website.
